Snabbrapport / Fast report

Först och främst, tusen tacka alla goa människor för alla värmande och uppmuntrande ord! Det har varit lite gungigt här ett slag, så det har verkligen piggat upp. Och nu kommer snart uppiggningen framför andra, en resa till London! På fredag bär det ar. Den har varit bokad och klar sen länge, och tack och lov har den inte behövt bokas av. Längtar till mina favoritkillar!!!

Nu har jag kommit in i ett skov av uppstarter, hur kul som helst och dessutom är de flesta små grejer och kommer att bli klara inom inte alltför avlägsen framtid.

First of all, thousands of thanks to all you wonderful people, for all warm and encouraging words! It's been a bit rolly here for a while, so it has really cheered me up. And soon we really will be cheered up, more than anything, with a trip to London! It has been booked since long ago, and thankfully it has not been necceccary to counsil it. I’m longing for my favorite guys!

Now I’ve really get into a huge amount of new projects, started or just planed. It’s so fun and the majority of them are small items and will be ready in the no time – or may be some time but not that long!

En balaklava har jag gjort till Tristan – igen! Nu har Alex en och Tristan och Poppy två var. Om de fungerar räcker det nog ett slag, är de alldeles åt skogen i storlek och fason får jag väl försöka på nåt annat sätt. Modellen är efterfrågad och tyvärr har jag inte hittat något riktigt bra mönster så därför försöker jag få till ett själv. Ack om man hade dem i närheten så man kunde mäta! Och då hade man ju som grädde på moset fått gosa med dem lite mer regelbundet. Ja regelbundet är det väl i och för sej nu också, men lite oftare!

Nog klagat, det kunde varit värre. De kunde ju bott på andra sidan jorden, det hade inte varit kul!

I’ve just finished a balaclava for Tristan - again! Now Alex has one, and Tristan and Poppy two each. It should be enough for a while, if they fit, but otherwhise I'll try in another way. The model is wanted but unfortunately I have not found a really good pattern so therefore I try to get one myself. Oh, if I had them nearby so I could measure and try on! And in that case of course the icing of the cake had been the possibility to cuddle with them a bit more regularly. Well, it is regularly now, too, but it could be a bit more often!

Enough complaining, it could have been worse. They could have lived on the other side of the world, that had not been fun!






Lilla Baby Ru har hittills inte fått riktigt den uppmärksamhet han förtjänar, men det ska bli ändring på det nu. Som jag tidigare sagt är det en kofta på gång i Schoppel Wolle. Såna färger!!! Underbara, helt fantastiska, riktiga gladfärger. Det är sådana som våran Alex skulle älska, men tyvärr är det ett nysta som legat till sej ett slag och när jag insåg storheten visade det sig att färgen nu är utgången. Och ett nysta är inte mycket att komma med för att lysa upp en stor kille, så det får bli till en liten en istället. Förhoppningsvis dyker andra fina färger upp i vår väg framöver.


Little Baby Roo has not been given quite the attention he deserves, but it is about to change now. As I stated earlier, it is a cardigan in Schoppel Wolle on the needle. And what colors! Wonderful, fantastic, real happy colours. They are the kind that our Alex would love, but unfortunately I have just one ball of it and when I realized the greatness it was out of order. And a ball is not much to bright up a big guy, so it has to be a small one instead. Hopefully, it will pop up other lovley colours like that in the future.





En teststickning för Mechtild, en icke-hemlig sådan, har jag också börjat på till Baby Ru. Då har han i alla fall nåt att börja med, man kan ju inte åka hem från BB utan något varmt som farmor stickat, eller hur?


A test knit for Mechtild, a non-secret one, is also started for Baby Ru. Then he has at least something to start with, you can not go home from the hospital without a sweater that grandmother knitted, isn't it so?






Dessutom har jag börjat på en tjock och varm och go kofta till honom. (Ja, ja, med reservation för att det blir en liten tjej, men just nu är det arbetshypotesen att Baby Ru är en kille!) Kan vara ett lagom reseprojekt. Dessutom ska jag sätta igång med ytterligare ett par varma mysa-omkring-hemma-med knästrumpor till Karin. De förra föll i god jord och då skadar det ju inte med ett par som ombyte.

And beside that one, a thick and warm and cozy cardigan is on its way. I think that will be a perfect work for the traveling. And besisdes that, I'll start with another pair of warm cuddle-around-at-home socks for Karin. They I did for her reasently was appreciated and it don't hurt with an extra pair.


Nu blir det tyst här på drygt en vecka. Som tidigare sagts så far vi till London på fredag och blir borta en vecka. Sen kommer Ulf, Helene och våran Poppy hit helgen efter! En sån lycka, alla ungar, stora som små, inom samma vecka!

Sen kör behandlingen av cancern igång, ska bli väldigt spännande och intressant att se vad det kommer att få för effekt, både under resans gång och i slutänden :-/

Now it will be silence here for a bit more than a week. As I said earlier we will go to London at Friday and stay there for a week, and then at Sauturday Ulf, Helene and our Poppy will come here! What a happieness, all our kids, big and small, in the same week!!! And after that the treatment for the cancer will start. It will be very exciting and interesting to see what effect it will have, both on the way and at the end :-/
