Stora grejer på gång / Big things on the go

Det har varit lite si och så med stickningen den sista tiden, men nu är det full fart igen. Och bara stora grejer just nu, av någon egendomlig anledning.

It has been a bit so and so with the knitting lately, but now it's ful speed again. And by some strange reason it's just big things on the needles right now.



Äldst är koftan till Ulf. Ett par varv i taget, kanske kan få den färdig till jul. Den ser inte mycket ut för världen så här, men kvaliteten känns skön och förhoppningsvis kan det bli något trevligt av det. Halvvägs upp till ärmhålan på själva kroppen och nästan två tredjedelar av den första ärmen klar.

First it's the cardigan for Ulf. A few rows now and then, may be it can be finished till Christmas. It's not much to look at right now, but the quality feels very nice and hopfully it will be something nice of it. Halfway up to the armpits of the body and just about two third of the first sleeve is done.


Sen så är det tröjan till David, en crickettröja enligt konstens alla regler. Ja, nästan i alla fall, jag tänker göra raglanärmar, och det tror jag strider mot alla gänse regler. Men å andra sidan, inte tänkte väl cricketspelarna på tröjregler? De har väl fullt upp med att hålla reda på spelets märkliga regler.

Den synstarka kan kanske urskilja början på flätan i den blå randen.

Then it's the sweater for David, a cricketsweater according to all the recognized rules. Well, at least some of them. I intend to do raglan decreases for the sleeves, and I'm not quite sure is totaly correct. But at the other hand, do the cricketplayers really have rules for how the sweaters should be? Don't they need all their times to think about the strange rules of the game?

With extremely good eyes may be the cables that begins in the blue stripe will be seen.



Och sist men inte minst, min nya teststickning åt Jaquelyn. Denna gången är det den andra designen i en serie om fyra som har de fyra elementen som tema. Denna heter Aer och kommer att släppas i vinter. Fluffig är ordet, och det är Helene som ska få den, antingen hon vill eller inte.

And last but not least, my new testknitting for Jaquelyn. This time it is the second design in a serie of four, with the four elements as theme. This is called Aer and will be released next winter. Fluffy is the best word for it, and I'll do it for Helene, either she wants to or not.
